The faster pace of Regional Chamber of Commerce Nis toward necessary changes and qualitative approach to staff and structural reforms in accordance with demands of times and its members – all the business people and enterprises from Nisava, Toplica and Pirot Districts – is entering its new phase. “Capacity Building of Regional Chamber of Commerce Nis” project, to be implemented by the end of 2012 by LEDIB Programme, is continued by hiring the “LSL consulting” Agency for Business Consulting from Kragujevac and Ms. Nadezda Tosic, Psychologist, who, on behalf of the Agency, conducted a workshop with five standardized tests measuring abilities and personality characteristics and three questionnaires and individual interviews with RCC Nis employees from August 4 – 6.
The objective of this part of the project is analysis of employees’ competences with creation of their business profiles and giving general recommendations for the new organizational scheme in RCC Nis. The workshop and interviews conducted by Ms. Tosic have been performed in a highly professional and creative way, and the results of these activities will indicate the profile of RCC team, as well as the abilities of employees to identify basic processes and work tasks. High cooperativeness of employees and a shared motif to face the changes in functioning of this important business sector in the most appropriate way were noted. All the employees made a great effort to participate in the workshops, professionally performed through brainstorming principle, and reached valuable and relevant discussions and conclusions about chamber management.
After performing the interviews, Ms. Nadezda Tosic of “LSL consulting“ said: “It is a challenge for each psychologist to enter an organization, as a stranger, in order to test the characteristics, skills and abilities of employees. I am very pleased to be in the organization that accepted this process very well. It is very important for each organization to anticipate future events in order to adapt to the environment. An organization, as well as an individual, changes itself in order to adjust to the environment, and not vice versa, meaning that the right path has been chosen for RCC Nis. Based on the interviews conducted so far with the employees, I believe that the Chamber has a great potential regarding formal education level which is very high. Those people have a lot of experience in their field of expertise, especially related to management and entrepreneurship. This indicates that the changes that are ahead of Chamber are well based. At this moment, there is a positive spirit for changes among the employees.”

Regional Chamber of Commerce Nis, as a part of Serbian chamber system, with partner help from Danish Industrial Confederation and LEDIB Programme, was among the first to participate in the serious organizational changes and boldly step toward new demands, imposed by the circumstances and great challenges of the actual business and economic times onto its members and chamber system in general.
Two-day seminar entitled "Energy Efficiency and Optimization of Structures" is scheduled in Belgrade for a period of February 03 up to February 04, 2012.
