Milos Stevic, Textile Start-Up Cluster Board of Directors President, initiated the visit of Cluster members to their fellow-members. The first such visit was to Nebojsa Krstic and “Verde Sistemi” Company from Novo Selo on August 21, 2010. This company deals with paper confection production.
Members saw “Verde Sistemi” Company products as well as a large investment – the new production facility - this company started with funds approved by NLB Bank – LEDIB Programme credit line.
After the tour, members discussed ideas for expanding their cooperation. Apart from already existing joint procurement from the same supplier of material, members adopted the idea for a joint presentation to common buyers that at this moment can be done through making some kind of joint billing for the firms financed from the public Budget. This would reduce the costs of presentation and also ensure payments from those firms.
What is important is that the spirit of networking and associating continues spreading. Textile Start-Up Cluster members are already experiencing benefits of joining into Cluster in their own companies, not only through different trainings provided by LEDIB Programme, but through costs reduction though joint procurements, and now they expect turnover to increase through joint sales.
Two-day seminar entitled "Energy Efficiency and Optimization of Structures" is scheduled in Belgrade for a period of February 03 up to February 04, 2012.
