On June 30, the 4^th Vidovdan gathering event was held in Batusinac. It was organized by Efigenija Association of Women from Doljevac and Efigenija Artistic Association from Batusinac. Members of Agro-Batusinac Association used this occasion to organize the Days of Tomato 2012 for the first time. They organized the contest of the tomato producers related to qualitative and quantitative properties of tomato. A jury of experts evaluated the organoleptic properties, dry matter and the weight of the competing tomatoes, announcing the winner in the end. Apart from contest of producers, this event was marked by a competition of the folk dance associations from South Serbia. The “Agro- Batušinac” Association is a member of SPUNO Association, so Agrozem and LEDIB Programme have supported this event.
